- Aneesh Reddy
Co-founder & CEO
Aneesh Reddy is the Co-founder & CEO of Capillary Technologies. A visionary who believes that advances in technology can lead to significant advances in business value and ROI, Aneesh leads the Capillary team and works with enterprise customers to help them put the right communications for the right products into the hands of the right customers at the right time.
Aneesh is a frequently featured expert at global retail, marketing and technology forums worldwide and premier educational institutes such Wharton and ISB. He participates in discussions around entrepreneurship and major technology trends such as cloud, mobile, social and Big Data. He is also a featured entrepreneur in leading publications like Forbes, Harvard Business Review and The Economic Times. Before founding Capillary, he worked with ITC Limited, where his role involved facility management and setting up a new Greenfield factory for their FMCG division. Aneesh holds a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
- Krishna Mehra
Co-founder & President – Americas
Krishna is the Co-founder & President of Capillary Technologies, where he drives the product vision and strategy for the company. As a technology evangelist, Krishna believes that true innovation happens at the confluence of Technology and Business. At Capillary, he has created powerful products that address the gaping void of customer engagement in Retail. Capillary’s products have enabled hundreds of consumer facing businesses worldwide to embrace emerging and cutting-edge paradigms – including real-time analytics, integrated mobile and social media based customer engagement technologies.
Krishna holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology and has been associated with Microsoft Research prior to co-founding Capillary. Krishna is a frequent speaker at industry forums and some of the world’s top schools including NASSCOMM, Wharton, Harvard Business School and the IIMs. In his free time, he likes to indulge in his passion for reading, writing and theatre.
- Ajay Modani
Co-founder & COO
Ajay is the Co-founder & COO at Capillary Technologies. An entrepreneur with deft influencing skills, Ajay has an unusual ability to identify opportunities, believes in “making things happen” and consistently achieves goals and objectives.
A graduate from IIT Kharagpur with a B.Tech in Industrial Engineering, Ajay has worked with Danieli, a multinational company as a technical coordinator for Myanmar & Indian projects in the field of building plant for the steel industry. He was the youngest manager in the company to be given the responsibility to set up a plant. At Capillary, his expertise spans over Operations and Client Servicing. Ajay’s significant contribution at IIT includes conceptualizing and pioneering the first ever technical fest in the Industrial Engineering and Management Department. He also served as the General Secretary Technology, Radha Krishnan Hall of residence and led the hall for one academic year in technology events. Inspired by a family of proficient businessmen, Ajay comes with the intricate knowledge of the workings of the business world. Ajay is also enthusiastic about travelling and has a keen interest in books.
- Anant Choubey
Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Asia-Pacific
Anant Choubey is responsible for sales and marketing in the APAC region at Capillary Technologies and currently manages the firm’s business across South East Asia. His prime focus is to strategise and expand Capillary in burgeoning market in South East Asia. He has donned many hats in Capillary over the years, from operations to client servicing to business development and has been instrumental in setting up Capillary’s India business, before moving to Singapore to establish and manage South East Asia market. Prior to joining Capillary Anant worked with the operations division of P&G, where in a short time he was chosen to set up the $100Million Baby Care facility in India. He is also one of the youngest employees in P&G’s history to receive recognition shares.
Anant is an Industrial Engineering & Management graduate from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT – KGP). Even as a student he showed extraordinary leadership qualities and led numerous initiatives at IIT-KGP including serving as the Governor of the Technology Robotix Society.
- Janet A. Jaiswal
Vice President, Marketing
Janet is responsible for the global marketing function at Capillary and possesses more than 20 years of experience building and marketing products in the e-commerce, mobile, payments and space for both businesses and consumers. She has successfully introduced half a dozen products and services to the enterprise and consumer market. Her industry knowledge is formed from previous positions held at eBay, Scient, IBM and PayPal where she was responsible for protecting more than 110 million users worldwide. Janet’s past roles have included creating and implementing marketing strategies that generated widespread awareness for products in both domestic and international markets for companies ranging in size from start-ups to Fortune 500.
Ms. Jaiswal holds an MBA from the Tepper School of Management at Carnegie Mellon University and a BS at the University of California, Berkeley.
- Ashish Kasi
Vice President, Engineering
Ashish is responsible for the development of all Capillary applications and technology. Ashish comes to Capillary with over 20 years of IT experience with a focus over the last 14 years on building SaaS products for the retail and commerce sector. Prior to joining Capillary, he was at Yahoo! for 10 years as the head of engineering for Small Business group. At Yahoo!, he helped create the engineering team, scale its operation and built a suite of profitable services ranging from “content to e-commerce” targeted at enabling small and mid-sized businesses to be successful online. Ashish has also worked at and held leadership roles at various large establishments and start-ups in the United States.
Ashish holds a MS in Computer Science from SUNY Stonybrook in New York. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and helping run a village school in India.
- Sridhar Subramanian
Chief Financial Officer
Sridhar heads Finance at Capillary Technologies and has been instrumental in ensuring that Capillary consistently delivers on key financial and operating metrics, making it one of the most profitable companies operating in this space. Sridhar comes with over 23 years of experience and has worked with large consumer names like 3M India, Coke and Vodafone. Prior to Capillary, Sridhar was working with an education startup, iProf (an NVP portfolio company), where his key priorities were to support the company’s growth, manage critical finance function and adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered accountants of India and holds a Diploma in IFRS from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK.
- Narayan R Thammaiah
Vice President, People Practice
Narayan joins Capillary with 20 years of combined expertise in strategic transformational people practice. A creative thinker, problem solver and decision maker who effectively balances the needs of employees with mission and values of the organization, Narayan manages human resources for all locations at Capillary Technologies. Prior to joining Capillary, Narayan was the Director of Rambus Inc. where he was responsible for re-organizing the company, its strategic road map to create center of excellence and build organization for growth and its culture of innovation. Narayan also has extensive experience working with AT&T GBS, iPass, Cosystems and Qualcomm (Spike Technologies).
Narayan has done his Post Graduation in Human Resources and Executive Education from ISB. He is also a life-time member of NHRD.
- Govind Seshadri
Vice President, Professional Services
Govind heads Analytics, Systems Integration, Delivery and Support functions at Capillary and brings over 20 years of IT and consulting experience. Before joining Capillary, Govind was with Cognizant for over 8.5 years where he held multiple leadership roles. Most recently, he was a partner with Cognizant Business Consulting, managing the P&L for their Customer Solutions practice and earlier, had served as the North America Leader for Cognizant’s Integration practice. Before Cognizant, Govind had held leadership roles at Sun Microsystems/SeeBeyond and the eCommerce startup StoreRunner Network.
Govind is a published author with Cambridge University Press and has a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin. Govind is also a lover of mountains and wild places and has been on numerous high altitude treks around the world, including the Everest Base Camp.
